We are quickly approaching the close of 2024. It's the perfect time to reflect on the journey I have had this year. It has been a year of transformation and growth both personally and professionally.

Knowledge sharing: An opportunity to continue with my current assignment allows me to share my knowledge. This also allows me to expand my skills.


Watching our team grow: I had the opportunity to meet new colleagues at the QDay conference that have joined the informiQ team.


Collaborating: Working closely with talented colleagues brings a fresh perspective and new energy.


Of course, no journey is without its challenges, and 2024 has taught me the value of adaptability and perseverance. I have grown stronger and more determined than ever.


Welcoming 2025 with open arms


Diving right into 2025, filled with possibilities, dreams, and ambitions. It is a fresh start, a chance to set bold goals and embark on exciting adventures.


Improving myself: Continue my education, grow, and strive for excellence in all that I do.


Becoming more involved: Strive to contribute ideas to elevate our brand and connect with my work community.


Enhancing my public speaking skills: Aspire to join the list of speakers at the next QDay and share my insights and knowledge to a broader audience.


To everyone that has been a part of this journey, thank you for your support, collaboration, and belief in what we can achieve together. As we step into 2025, I will carry forward the lessons and momentum from this incredible year.


Wishing you all a joyful holiday season and prosperous New year. Striving to make 2025 my best year yet!

We welcome and embrace diversity. No matter who you are, where you're from, or who you love, we believe you should be you. If you share our values, you are welcome here!


That is our diversity and inclusion statement, that was written in 2021. Not that we didn’t agree with those words before that, but that was the year when many of us wanted informiQ to acknowledge Pride month (June) on our social media channels. However, we wanted to avoid rainbow washing - often signified by companies sprinkling rainbow colors everywhere without actually showing any concrete support for the cause. We also wanted the statement to include people from all different backgrounds, while being short and concise.

How we practice diversity and inclusion

  • We don’t discriminate, anyone who has the competence to match our demands is a potential employee - regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, background, age, or sexuality.

  • All employees have the same rights, responsibilities, and obligations.

  • Equality is a natural part of any activities and relationships.

  • All employees are given the same possibilities for leadership, competence development, and pay based on contribution.

  • The company culture promotes the needs and possibilities for all employees.


Of course, we can always do better in some aspects. We’re not leaning back, relaxing,  and patting ourselves on the back thinking there’s nothing more we can do. In order to keep up a constant openness for new people and their differences we have to be ever vigilant. We see how it will benefit us because the more diverse we are, the stronger we will be as a team and as a company.


The most obvious ways to make sure your company is open for diversity is to make sure you have functioning policies regarding gender equality and anti-harassment. Less obvious is to work on your cultural awareness that creates unconscious bias (prejudice  triggered by our brain automatically making quick judgments and assessments to cultural differences).


Our advice to you: Take a look at your company policies to make sure they are relevant, functional, and that you follow them. Understand how diversity will strengthen your company, and start working on your unconscious bias (we all have them, but being aware of it is a great first step).

A few months ago the Malmö informiQ team got a chance to try a unique and dopamine triggering paint session together. Throwing, dripping and splashing color on a canvas while listening to music and having fun with fellow colleagues? Yes, please! 


Thanks to our very own graphic design consultant, Lina, we found the perfect place for the informiQ Fall/Winter kick-off of 2023 team-building activity. Yes, we know. It’s kind of old news now leaning into 2024, but this wonderful team-building happening cannot go unnoticed. Who knew that technical writer consultants could create such wonderful art? Apparently they are not just word wizards, but also secretly paint splatting artists.


From a blank canvas to a splatted masterpiece

The concept of paint splatting is pretty simple: Put on an overall to protect your clothes, mix the colors you like and start creating your masterpiece by splatting it onto the blank canvas. There are no limits other than your own imagination.




An hour went by quickly and some of us (no names mentioned) had to be told to gently put down the paintbrush. It was so amusing that we could have kept going for hours! The art session was followed by a well-deserved pizza and burger dinner at Matverkstaden.


Thank you Amanda and SPLAT FABRIKEN for a memorable and energizing autumn kick-off. We hope that you will soon pop up somewhere else for others to enjoy the fun.
